How to Preview a Ballot

After building your ballot, the next step is to preview it to see how it would look for the voters and confirm that you have not left anything out.

Previewing your ballot can be done within the Ballot Builder page, so you should remain on this page after adding all your ballot components (such as questions and answer options).

Here’s how to preview your ballot:

1. On the Ballot Builder page, scroll back to the top of the page.

2. Click on Preview, and you’ll be redirected to a page that shows you exactly how your ballot will appear to voters when they are about to vote.

Returning to Editing

After previewing your ballot, if you want to make any changes, simply click on Edit at the top of the preview page. You will be taken back to the Ballot Builder page where you can continue editing your ballot as needed.

Important Note:

Before exiting the editor, make sure to save any changes you’ve made. If there are unsaved edits, the system will display a prompt to remind you, so you don’t lose your progress.
