How to Add a Terms & Acceptance to a Ballot & Examples
If you want to add Terms and Conditions to your ballot, you’ll find the process simple and seamless. In this article, we’ll show you exactly how to do it.
When setting up your ballot, you can add a Terms and Conditions field directly from the Ballot Settings page. You have the flexibility to add it either at the beginning of the ballot creation process or after your ballot has already been created.
Here’s how to add it:
On your Ballot Settings page, scroll towards the middle of the page.
Under the Terms and Conditions section, check the box labeled "Include custom terms & acceptance field."
Once you check the box, the formatting options within the content area will become enabled, allowing you to add your custom Terms and Conditions text directly into your ballot.
Saving Your Changes:
Save: Click Save to store your ballot settings and remain on the Ballot Settings page.
Save & Go to Ballot Builder: Click Save & Go to Ballot Builder to save your ballot settings and immediately be redirected to the Ballot Builder page, where you can continue building your ballot.
Important Note: Once added, your custom Terms and Conditions will appear in your ballot just above the default Terms and Conditions that are automatically included with the ballot.
